Q: What happens if someone is trying to purchase the same trade as me and their transaction completes before mine?

A: In this case, the protocol will behave as follows:

If there are tokens remaining in this trade, your order will take what remains, assuming the other trader did not entirely fill the trade. If there are no tokens remaining, your order will fail.

Note that the protocol does not maintain a queue of orders, all orders are treated on a first come first serve basis.

Q: Why did I not get the amount of tokens I intended to buy?

A: It is more than likely that someone has purchased the same order as you before the interface has had a chance to update. See the above question for more clarity.
